Our Trucks
Here at Metro Detroit Tree, we come equipped with high capacity trucks. This allows us to haul more material efficiently, which in turn allows us to complete jobs faster and cheaper for you. We keep our trucks clean and always up-to-date on maintenance.
Our Bucket Trucks and Track Lifts
Our Bucket trucks and Track-Lift are state of the art equipment, allowing us to be safer and more efficient. Our bucket truck is the tallest produced bucket designed for tree work at 75ft tall. They are ideal for trees in the front yard and large access sites for municipal work. For tight access jobs, trees in backyards, and trees where low ground pressure is required, we have our Track-Lift. Our Track-Lift can reach 101ft. in the air and can fit through a standard 36in. gate making those tall hard to reach trees much easier.
Our Chippers
Made In Michigan!
We have some of the largest chippers made for residential tree work, which have a chipping capacity of up to 21″ in diameter. These machines, paired with our high-capacity trucks allow for large amounts of material to be processed quickly. All of our chippers are also made in Michigan!
Our Loaders
We use articulating wheel loaders to carry and move small and large material on the job site. This style of loader is turf friendly due to its articulating steering system and low weight. We use our loaders to help reduce the stress on our workers and make jobs more efficient and quicker.
Stump Grinders
For the final process of a tree removal, a stump grinder is needed. Our stump grinders are high horsepower allowing us to grind large stumps deeper and faster. They are also compact enough to fit through 36in. gates for tight access stumps.
Our Specialized Trucks
Our company employs specialized equipment like cranes, grapple log trucks, and grapple saw trucks to efficiently remove trees, especially those in challenging locations or near structures. Cranes provide the necessary lifting power for heavy branches or entire trees, while grapple log trucks transport large sections of wood safely. Grapple saw trucks combine cutting and lifting capabilities, enabling precise and swift removal of branches and tree sections, ensuring a streamlined and professional tree removal process.
Our Grapple Log Truck
Changing the game in productivity, our 2023 Western Star Grapple log truck is maximizing our efficiency at every job. With its remarkable 22-foot-long heavy-duty box, equivalent to that of a standard garbage truck, it is designed to transport even the largest and heaviest logs we encounter. Equipped with a powerful grapple, this truck can seamlessly load logs directly into its bed with precision.
What once seemed like daunting, heavy loads are now effortlessly lifted and delicately placed with ease. With our state-of-the-art log truck, we’re redefining efficiency and creating new standards in the tree industry.
Our Grapple Saw Truck
Our 2023 Freightliner M2 Grapple Saw truck is the modernized solution of tree work. Packed with impressive features, it significantly enhances safety and efficiency. With a powerful 200 HP Cummins diesel engine, this truck guarantees safe operation and reliability. The 60-inch grapple can effortlessly grab and cut large limbs, smoothly running the tree removal process. Plus, equipped with a spacious 16-foot heavy duty log/chip box for efficient material transportation. This truck is an extraordinary machine, revolutionizing the way tree work is done.
Our Crane
We own a 28-ton crane that is a powerhouse in heavy lifting for trees. This crane makes it easier and more efficient to remove hard-to-reach and heavy trees with confidence. The towering 106-foot boom provides impeccable reach, allowing us to access tall trees. With a 30-47-foot jib, offering versatile precision. Our 2018 Freightliner Terex Crane stands as the cornerstone of Metro Detroit Tree, creating
a significant impact on our efficiency, reliability, and power in every tree removal we undertake.
