Metro Detroit Tree &Firewood did a great job removing (2) trees from our property.They were extremely professional efficient ,knew excactly how to handle the removal process,and did a great job cleaning up.

I have been a contractor for 30 years and have used several tree companies to trim, remove individual trees and clear for subdivisions. These guys were incredible. This tree was huge and in a very dangerous location between two houses.
Their crew was phenomenal in their almost surgical removal of the tree. They were quick, cleaned up and even handled traffic control throughout the job. I can’t compliment them enough.

The crew did an excellent job. Courteous, friendly, answered all my questions, quick, and efficient! Thank you!

Fair-priced, Friendly, Respectful, Courteous, Competent, Professional, Timely, Tidy. Nothing but a positive experience at my house and my in-laws.

They used my neighbors driveway to haul out a hemlock and dragged rusty iron leaving stains. Refused to stand behind the damage. I hired a power washing company to clean and apply stain removal acid. I do not recommend using this company.
10/23/2025. They paid for the service to power wash the neighbors driveway.
All settled.

The crew showed up on time and set to work. They were effective and efficient. All of the work was completed in accordance with the estimate, and the post trimming cleanup was completed by A well trained and managed crew. A great Customer experience.

What a professional operation this crew runs! They were respectful and listened to what I needed. They have all of the equipment necessary to complete the job--a large crew, big trucks, cherry pickers, chippers, bulldozers, stump grinders AND, they put a partition around the stump when they were grinding, to prevent it from flying into my neighbor's yard.
When they were cutting, they took the extra time needed to direct where the limbs fell, so as not to damage wires, structures etc... they raked up all of the debris and smoothed out the area. These guy's work well as a team and everybody knows what to do. José (owner) pays attention to every detail.
Their prices are fair and affordable. I recommend them highly. I am very happy with the job they did. Amazing!

Jose and his crew were in and out in about 90 minutes to trim 3 trees away from my roof. They left my yard and driveway clean.

From start to finish the whole experience was absolutely outstanding! Jose and his team trimmed 4 trees and hemlocks in my front yard. They used their bucket truck for 2 of them which were very close to the house and over my roof. They were efficient, very careful, and shaped them all beautifully. True professionals and the clean up was outstanding. Would hire them again in a heartbeat!!

Fantastic from start to finish. This company is exceptional. They gave us an estimate, we scheduled a date, and within no time they came & finished the job to completion and cleaned up beautifully. They aren’t cheap, but I’d hire them again and again. The ONLY downside is that they came 2 hours early, without a call. Their exceptional work made up for the early arrival.

Came out as soon as possible; did a great job! Didn’t tear up my yard- tree stump gone and ground leveled. Very professional and flexible- had them do some stumps last year- trusted them enough to have them come while I was at work!

Owner Jose and the crew did an excellent job. They got here with major equipment and immediately went to work. The tree belonged to my neighbor who gave everyone a lot of grief, including the Detroit Tree owner Jose while he was here in a reach truck trimming branches. I'll say he handled it professionally, he earned my respect in many ways during the process. Thank you all for a great experience. Oh, the icing on the cake, my wife liked it!

I've hired Metro Detroit Tree & Firewood twice for 2 separate tree removal projects. They are great to work with. From scheduling the initial estimate, to cleaning up after the job is done, they are a phenomenal company to work with for any and all tree work.

The team helped me to remove 4 big trees and trimmed several. They did a great job The price is competitive. They cleaned up everything before leaving.

Recently we had the team come out to remove a large tree from the front of our home . The team was very well organized and did a fantastic job. Tree and stump removed very quickly and yard clean up with out a trace of debris. My husband and I recommend them highly . Would use again if the need arise .

The Metro Detroit Tree&Firewood Co., first of all gave a very reasonable quote, better than other quotes requested. The team showed up on time, very professional & courteous. I have a patio potted garden, they removed and replaced the pots before and after tree service. The clean up was great! Highly recommended. Service date June 11, 2024

This company did a fantastic job. Had 2 trees removed and stumps ground plus they brought a new tree and planted it. The office staff went above and beyond to meet my accommodations. I will definitely use Metro Tree again.

My dear friend had a tree fall on top of her house during a wind storm and she was at a loss as to what to do. Thankfully having just received a circular in the mail from this company she called and they came out immediately. For less than she expected they had removed the tree very fast. From the gentleman working on the tree to the office staff this company exceeded any expectations and we will be raving about our experience with anyone who will listen. I had a very large tree in my small yard with a lot of obstacles in the way. The crew was professional and did an outstanding job with the removal and clean up.

Metro did a great job trimming our neighbor's tree branches overhanging our yard. Their tracked bucket machine was able to get thru our narrow gate.

Metro was the best , we had them take down 6 trees and do the stump grinding . They did all 6 very quick and they cleaned up everything, they also hauled away all the sawdust from the stump grinding . We would definitely recommend them,

I'm very pleased with the service. I had a couple of small trees that needed to be removed, and had been trying all summer to get someone to come out and take care of them, but they either did the job poorly or never returned my calls. I received a callback from Metro Detroit Tree & Firewood right away. I was impressed with their efficiency and professionalism. They removed the trees, shaped some remaining trees/shrubs in my yard and cleaned up everything, it looks so much better! I called on a Friday and it was done on Monday. I will definitely call them again in the future.
