I have been a contractor for 30 years and have used several tree companies to trim, remove individual trees and clear for subdivisions. These guys were incredible. This tree was huge and in a very dangerous location between two houses.
Their crew was phenomenal in their almost surgical removal of the tree. They were quick, cleaned up and even handled traffic control throughout the job. I can’t compliment them enough.

They used my neighbors driveway to haul out a hemlock and dragged rusty iron leaving stains. Refused to stand behind the damage. I hired a power washing company to clean and apply stain removal acid. I do not recommend using this company.

MDT&F WOW!
What a professional operation this crew runs! They were respectful and listened to what I needed. They have all of the equipment necessary to complete the job--a large crew, big trucks, cherry pickers, chippers, bulldozers, stump grinders AND, they put a partition around the stump when they were grinding, to prevent it from flying into my neighbor's yard.
When they were cutting, they took the extra time needed to direct where the limbs fell, so as not to damage wires, structures etc... they raked up all of the debris and smoothed out the area. These guy's work well as a team and everybody knows what to do. José (owner) pays attention to every detail.
Their prices are fair and affordable. I recommend them highly. I am very happy with the job they did. Amazing!

Jose and his crew did a great job cutting down 5 of my trees and grinding their stumps between my front and back yards. The trees were next my house in front and my patio in the back yard. They also trimmed two red maples on the front boulevard. Their quoted price was good and they were able to do the job in one day after I agreed to the contract because they had an opening. They worked for 3.5 straight hours and finished with a meticulous cleanup. I highly recommend them to anyone interested in getting their trees done.

From start to finish the whole experience was absolutely outstanding! Jose and his team trimmed 4 trees and hemlocks in my front yard. They used their bucket truck for 2 of them which were very close to the house and over my roof. They were efficient, very careful, and shaped them all beautifully. True professionals and the clean up was outstanding. Would hire them again in a heartbeat!!

Fantastic from start to finish. This company is exceptional. They gave us an estimate, we scheduled a date, and within no time they came & finished the job to completion and cleaned up beautifully. Owner Jose and the crew did an excellent job. They got here with major equipment and immediately went to work. It was like a well oiled machine with each person knowing their responsibilities as well as staying busy helping other crew members instead of just watching. The end result was definitely worth the wait. The tree looks great and the clean up impeccable . I am so happy we picked the correct contractor Detroit Tree. I have a patio potted garden, they removed and replaced the pots before and after tree service. The clean up was great! Highly recommended. Service date June 11, 2024

My dear friend had a tree fall on top of her house during a wind storm and she was at a loss as to what to do. Thankfully having just received a circular in the mail from this company she called and they came out immediately. For less than she expected they had removed the tree very fast. From the gentleman working on the tree to the office staff this company exceeded any expectations and we will be raving about our experience with anyone who will listen. This company was fantastic. Not only were they priced fantastic, but they arrived right on time, were clean and friendly! They did the job quickly and efficiently.

I had a large pine removed, branch removal, and some 8ft tall burning bushes cut. I also had stump grinding.

I would recommend them 100x over.

I'd post a picture but you'd never know there were trees there before! It's like they were never there! Tree magic!

Very professional and fast. I was surprised at how prompt and prepared they were for my tree removal. It was not easy, with my tree growing from the roots against my house, pushing against my electric meter and power drop. All gone in less than an hour!
